In 2018, GLIDE hosted a four-day exhibit of a community demonstration safe consumption site. The exhibit included 70 one-hour tours guided by harm reduction advocates, service providers, and community leaders. The guides provided education on harm reduction services and answered an array of questions from OPS policies and procedures to possible locations for OPS in San Francisco. Nearly 700 attendees, from 147 organizations that included community-based organizations, city departments, government offices, medical institutions, and universities.
